I'm a Lutheran pastor in rural Minnesota who takes pictures of trains. I'm more of a "railfan who takes pictures" rather than a photographer who has trains as his subject. I strive to take the best pictures I can given my limited amounts of money for equipment, time for travel, and artistic ability. I enjoy the friendships I have from this hobby almost more than the hobby itself now. Any day of chasing trains with friends is a good one in my book, no matter what the weather or what we see.
