The works of God are to be declared and made known -- Tobit 12:6

DIVINE MERCY SHRINE ENCINITAS

The Divine Mercy #shrine in Encinitas #DivineMercy724, is the mission project of the Divine Mercy Hills Foundation of Southern California, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in San Diego, California USA. One hundred percent of your donation goes entirely to the mission project. The reason is that none of the members of the DMHFSC board receive any compensation or benefit from the project whatsoever. Moreover, because of our 501(c)3 status, your donation is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by laws of the State of California.

Please help us "Build the Way of Mercy", a capital campaign to plan, design and build the first phase of the shrine which is the construction of a pedestrian friendly road from Encinitas Blvd to the foot of the 20-foot cross atop the hill.

OUR MISSION

The DMHFSC was established in 2012 for the specific mission of building a proposed shrine in Encinitas, CA to draw people of all cultures, beliefs, and nations to a place where they can stay awhile and come to encounter the life-changing, yet little known, and urgent message of Divine Mercy in their travels to California. God’s mercy is for all!

WHO WE ARE

The Divine Mercy Hills Foundation of Southern California (#DMHFSC) Board of Directors is comprised of a group of ordinary lay people, volunteers who have been called together to build a proposed #shrine to the Divine Mercy. We are under the guidance of two spiritual advisers, a contemplative Benedictine monk and a missionary priest. As of yet, the site is not officially recognized by the Diocese of San Diego as a “Shrine” as defined in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC). However, it is a place of prayer where people can come to contemplate the message of Divine Mercy.
