I've been interested in photography for most of my life. My first camera was a Kodak 126 Instamatic. My father had a Minolta, so that is what I wanted too. In high school, I bought a used SRT-202. But even with the camera upgrade I was just snap-shoter. I took a couple of classes in college which painfully pointed that reality to me. Fast forward a few years where the kids consumed most of my time, and I start to discover digital cameras. No more expensive film. No more waiting to see your photos. It was like a new beginning. The camera wasn't great, but it was fine for the learning that I needed to do. One day, I decided it was time to step up. No more grainy enlargements. Time for at least an APS-C. And after deciding to think outside the box, I decided to get a Sony NEX C3. I wanted a 5N, but couldn't swing the extra 150. (and since I originally wrote this, I was gifted a A6000!) Now, every new day is a growing experience. I have learned a lot from my fellow Flickrer' s! I'm looking forward to the future and seeing where my eye's take me!
