Emigrated to Australia from Manchester England with parents at age 9. Mainly lived around Albert Park Melbourne growing up. Lived on the Bass coast in Grantville Victoria. Moved to Lakes Entrance East Gippsland for four and a half years. Came back to Melbourne for health reasons.

Recently (10 years) gone back to digital photography from analogue. I prefer film, but I got too lazy for processing and scanning negs.

The first camera I got my grubby little hands on was a Yashica Minister or Minister D 35mm film rangefinder, which was a great camera to learn the basic art with.

I then purchased a Kodak Instamatic 100, using 126 film in a cartridge. Someone should have slapped me about the face with it! What was I thinking.

Many many numerous many (film) cameras later, I gave in to digital and now using mainly of late Fujifilm X cameras and now a Sony a7rii.

My favourite genre has to be street photography, I just hope to improve the quality of my work.....as my photos look about the same as they did fifty plus years ago…

PS. Pet hate ‘lame’ photo titles. I removed all my titles after realising how pathetic they read.

You do not need to title a photo!

Let the viewers do it with their silent imagination…
