I started diving in March 2004. Since then, I've done close to 500 dives. That's alot of diving in a short period. I got into diving because I've always been fascinated by the ocean and marine life. I bought a cheap digital camera and housing even before I got certified. I've got the photog bug. On many of my travels now, I'll bring 2 or 3 complete underwater housing rigs. With SCUBA equipment this is close to 200 pounds of stuff to haul around.
I'm one of those people who believe the oceans are dieing. We're seeing huge dead areas around large coastal areas even in the US. I've seen the results of a single El Nino; the complete death and bleaching of practically all coral within a large reef system. Recently on a dive trip to Cozumel, I would guess that at the most maybe 5% of the reef is still alive. This is very shocking.
I just want to capture a few photos of what we still have before my time.

A stunning collection of underwater images. I am amazed that your photography is so good even though you have only been diving a short time. I am incredibly jealous that you have been able to see all these magical moments. Please keep capturing the remaining oceans art!!!!!!
