Testimonials

abrasive downtown (deleted)

I went to Relative once to buy a few records and was touched inappropriately by an employee. Now I buy all of my music, magazines, art, coffee, and vegan muffins there.

For anyone who doesn't have the pleasure of knowing the wonderful folks at Relative Theory, let me say that they are all some of the most dedicated, passionate, hip, and community-oriented people alive. Each one of them has their own grassroots story and their own love of music, but they have joined together as a team to create and bring to the public a store that is built on the foundation of, not sales, but atmosphere. Relative Theory Records has become a home-away-from-home for many music lovers - as well as musicians - from across the country. The motive of the owners of RT is not to sell a product, but to create an experience with their patrons; one that will leave a lasting impression and that will further ignite their passion for the music they've come to love. I would have to say that before I ever walked in to RT, I had not fully discovered all of the music that I, today, can identify with myself and my expressive nature. With their ground-breaking role in enriching music, culture, and community, Relative Theory is my record store.
