I am an amateur photographer and have been for a few years. Prior to around 2003, I shot film exclusively and have just recently started to scan it all in. Today I shoot a mix, although most of what is on Flickr are travel photos, taken with a cheap digital camera.

Many of my photos are licensed under some form of Creative Commons license, usually either Attribution-NoCommercial-Sharealike or Attribution-Sharealike. Where they are not, I respectfully request that others respect my copyrights (particularly because in many cases these restrictions come to me as a result of agreements with third parties). However, if you would like to use a photo in a manner for which it is not currently licensed, please don't hesitate to contact me and we'll see what we can work out.

If you use a CC-Licensed photo, I would appreciate (although I do not require) an email or some form of notification simply as a courtesy. However, you do not have to do so and are free to use them in any manner allowed by the particular license.

Likewise, feel free to use any of the CC-BY-SA photos in Wikipedia or other Free projects, and if you want to use a photo and the license isn't compatible, contact me and I'll consider changing it.
