I am a practicing artist whose primary interests are the writing of historical fictions using objects, both created and found. I favour narratives of lesser-known human endeavors - "micro histories" - if you will; common people who attempt substantial feats against large odds, and/or with minimal resources. Toys feature prominently in my works, as do machines and vehicles, but I am less interested in their materiality than I am in what they say about us as individuals, and as a society.
