The Refract Festival, organized by the Cultural Front from Belgrade, will be held, for the ninth time, from May 18th to June 24th, 2010. Traditionally, this festival rounds out Belgrade's range of cultural activities with contemporary European offerings. The festival also actively promotes cooperation throughout the region with the aim of linking cultural events and audiences in Southeastern and Western Europe.

Since 2002 the Refract Festival has been held in May each year in various Belgrade venues, including Dom Omladine, Kalemegdan Fortress, the May 25th - Sports Centre, the Student Cultural Centre and the Museum of Contemporary Art, as well as other Serbian cities and towns, including Kragujevac, Prijepolje, Banatsko Novo Selo and Zrenjanin.

Over these eight years the festival has hosted a multitude of artists, performers and projects, both local and international, from near and far. The most popular segment of the festival is always the music program, while the festival also includes exhibitions, plays, film screenings and live performances.
