I have always been interested in photography but my interest in bird photography began a couple of years ago when I traded my film cameras for digital and bought a Nikon D40. I have since upgraded and now have a Nikon D5000 & Nikon D5100. I bought a 70-300mm Nikon lens and a 150mm - 500mm Sigma lens both on Ebay. I have since traded the D5000 for a D7000. My first experience of bird photography was on the Greek island of Lesvos and I was hooked from that time.
