My camera lens provides a window through which I interpret the world around me. What you find here is a mosaic of the various things, people, and places that have captured my attention at any given moment. If it seems like my work is all over the map it's because I'm exploring everything, seeing everything, shooting everything.

As for the name "Redzenradish," it's inspired by a haiku penned by Japanese poet Kobayashi Issa (1763-1828). It challenges me to see things newly no matter where I am as the smallest, most ordinary thing may become a vehicle for transformation:
The man pulling radishes
pointed my way
with a radish.

Kristina always inspires. Her search for simple perfection in the complexity of small objects; the stopping to record things we see every day, and to present them to us in ways that make us stop and think that we have never seen anything quite like that before has kept me fascinated since I first saw one of her amazing photographs. Thank you, my friend, for reminding me that wonder is still possible.
