Although I'll maintain this account in order to keep up with friends, it is with sadness that I am shifting over to Ipernity due to Flickr's new practice of inserting ads *into* my photostream, rather than just alongside my photos. I'll miss the communities here -- it was a good 8 years!

There are at least three places I call "home." This Flickr stream serves as a way of sharing my life with friends and family at home and beyond; as a way to document some of my favorite people, places, and moments; and also as an opportunity to be a bit creative now and then. The beauty and connectedness depicted here -- in landscapes, friends, stilled moments and silliness; even in hurriedness, loneliness, and rusted machinery -- remind me that "...in Him [Christ] all things hold together." (Colossians 1:17b).
