I'm basically just a birder with a camera and a desire to share what I see with others. I used to fancy myself a nature photographer 30 years ago but the frustration with heavy, slow gear, slide projectors, processing costs and the need to eat caused me to move on. Now digital (and a good job) has changed all that.
