As long as kids have been actively competing in BMX races, REDLINE has been there, manufacturing quality race bikes and creating state of the art equipment.

Redline Bicycles was born in 1974, as the offspring of Redline motorcycle frames. Founder and owner at the time, Linn Kastan, was drawn to this fledgling sport for the same reason other major brands had began--he had a teenage son who wanted to give this new sport called "Bicycle Motocross" a try.

It wasn’t long before Redline used its motorcycle technology in designing state-of-the-art products that wound up setting the standards for BMX. Redline was the first company to manufacture a tubular chromoly fork; a product that has gone on to become the industry standard for four decades. Redline was also the first to introduce the revolutionary tubular chromoly crank; which has to been one of the most copied items for BMX racing.

Redline Bicycles prides itself in making quality products and selling them at competitive prices. With a wide range of bikes priced from $180 to $680, and a loyal brand following with the youth market, it’s no wonder hundreds of thousands of parents trust us by insisting their children ride a Redline bike; the same bike they rode when they were a kid.
