Hi, I am a beginner in photography who has just started using the manual setting on my camera.

I joined flickr to hopefully learn and get ideas from other members, to share my photos and also to have fun.

I have a Nikon D5000 which I have had since 2010.

Lens- the original 18-55mm & 55-200mm standard.

Upgraded 2014 to Tokina 11-16mm wide angle,

Nikon 50mm prime, and an 18-200mm Nikkor ED VR 11.

I am also into Astronomy (beginner) and hope to combine the two hobbies as I gain experience.
