Recycling Zychal is a green Philadelphia softgoods company run by Taryn Zychal in Center City. Recycling Zychal specializes in the rescue and repurpose of broken umbrellas and transforms them into awesome functional and stylish softgoods products like modern day babushkas called HOODs, Cat Toys, and most famously Dog Coats, which have been a huge hit all around the press and internet since the company opened in April of 2009.

Recycling Zychal is a very different kind of green company and people are starting to notice. Taryn Zychal goes out with friends after a storm in Philly and collects or "rescues" broken umbrellas from the trash, alleyways and streets. She shows no discretion and rescues each and everyone she sees. Broken umbrellas are also donated to her from all around the world from people who love her company and great idea to repurpose broken umbrellas.
