Rebecca's photos make me think of the space between my feet and the ground; of what Frodo and Shirley Temple’s love child might look like; of lights twinkling across estuaries; the poisonous glare of a chemical works made beautiful by a neon sunset; the sound of cicadas fizzing in the air; the homogenous sprawl of housing estates; the nascent budding of spring flowers; the sucked stones of cherries left in a bowl on hot day; a Gorecki symphony going cold in the dark. They’re ace. I know how it might appear, but we’re not related…honest. I worship her!
