Admittedly, this is long overdue: Truth be told, Becca is one of the reasons that I find myself taking pictures on a regular basis. Besides being a wonderful person and a budding comedian, there is a palpable intimacy in her photos - careful, her gaze is mesmerizing. But her driving is suspect. She has a wicked eye and a cute accent and even her nose is quite cool. I suppose I had to mention her nose, because I talked about her eye (of which she most certainly has two) and I discussed her mouth (and its accent), so I didn't want to leave her nose out of a testimonial. Anyway, Bex is really rather clever with a camera, although if you're reading this then you probably don't need me to tell you that. Oh, Bex. This girl is the real deal. Throw a character at her, and she can portray it. Stick around a while, and you may even see her invent some of her own! She oozes retro-goodness, and I’ve learned so much from her and who she references as inspiration. Yes, she’s amazing with the self-portraits, but don’t go to her stream with out stopping by her “cityscape & landscape” or her “in search of America” sets. Becca is like the perfect mix of soul, poetry, song, and flower child- and the results are just stunning.

I absolutely love everything in Becca's stream. She has the most amazing eye for photography and is beyond innovative. When most of the time a 365 project is about the "self" Becca takes her's one step further and includes some of the most intellectually stimulating descriptions (something this particular "stay at home mom" enjoys seeing on flickr.). I told her once before, but I'll say it again. It's so refreshing to come to her stream and be able to look at a beautifully executed photograph and at the same time get a peek at the intellectual mind of a beautiful woman. Okay, full disclosure. I know Rebecca in real life. And, I also feel a bit responsible for her new found flickr addiction and her 365 stream. And, in real life I know her to be a smart beautiful vivacious captivating sexy wonderful person -- oh, yeah, and with eyes to die for. But nothing could have prepared me for how quickly she has translated all of these attributes to her pictures. Almost instantaneously, her pictures captured her sweetness and her sensuality and her playfulness. In less than two weeks she has personified Alice in Wonderland (Explored) and Charlotte from Lost in Translation (Explored) and brought her own beauty and interpretation to each picture. And that's just in two weeks. Rebecca is a wonderful person in real life and a wonderful flickr friend. Her pictures are fantastic and are going to get even better.
