Photography has been an interest of mine for a long time, but I never had a decent camera until I invested in a good SLR before I went overseas to live for a few years in Russia.

I am truly an amateur at this photography thing--one who learns mostly by trial and error . . . and error. I recently converted to digital photography and am enjoying the freedom it allows me to experiment in ways I was always afraid would waste film before.

I currently live in the heart of Kentucky's Bluegrass country.
