I started taking photos when I was about 17years old. I took a B&W course in my school and borrowd my dads camera, it was a Canon EOSsomething something, analouge systemcamera. I had the luck to get a box full of B&W film from my dad from when he worked as a photojournalist at the local newspaper where I live. It was some type of Ilford (hp5 I think) I took pictures after pictures, but never really botherd developing them and after i while, my interest in photo just faded away. Until recently. Now im 24 and have again taken interest in the art of photografy, and this time I think its here to stay. I started by going with the hipster culture and bought myself a Lomography fisheye camera and just blasted away. Roll after roll, and this time took my time to actully develop them. After that i went on to the Diana F+, same thing there as for the fisheye. I must say this though, that I was using Kodacolor with these Lomo´s.

Naturally, I began to take notice in 120film and bought a couple of rolls from the Lomo´s brand (waaay expensive) B&W. By this time I had also been given my dads old darkroom equipment and started to develop my own rolls and experimenting like some crazy nazi scientist (sorry for the comparison). Around this time i was eyeing in on the Lubitel 166b+ from Lomo. Im happy to say this, I didnt buy the 300+ $$ plastic shit thing from them, instead i went on a search on the world wide web and found me a little gem. A Russian manufactured original Lubitel 166b for the shy amount of 40$ WIN for me, fail for Lomo.

I have had a fun time with my Lomo experience and 120 format and what not. But like the most of us, it comes a time in your life when you want to do new thins, widen your horizon and silly things like that. So I looked deep in my pocket and bought a Canon AV-1 with a 35-70mm f4 lens. The camera is in perfect condition and has the more slightly nicer color of black instead of the original wich sported a silver type finnish.

This is my love, my buddy and companion for the most of the time now. I almost never go outside with it and a couple of rolls. I mostly shoot AGFA APX 100 rolls, and develop in R09 (basicly Rodinal) in a 40+1 dilution. at 20C, but it´s not a rule for me.

Anyway, I will upload some of the picture i take. I am scanning direct from the negatives to my computer for uploading here. I use a ION Slides2PC, a pretty shitty scanner compared to the pro scanners, but it gets the job done.

*EDIT March 07 2012

Today I recieved my "new" optic for my Canon AV-1. The original 50/1.8 optic. (I´ve used a 35-70/4 optic before) Tomorrow I will shoot a roll with it, looking forward to see the results.

*EDIT March 11 2012

Today was the day I got my Pentax ME Super w/o any optic.

But damn, what i nice looking camera. Can´t wait for the optic to arrive.

*EDIT March 13 2012

Got my optics for my Pentax ME Super today in the mail.

An ASAHI SMC Pentax-M 50/1.2. Came with a little dent in it but nothing that will effect the pictures. This lens is far superior to my original FD 50/1.8 lens for my Canon AV-1. The sharpness is way better I can tell. The focusing is smoother and some what easier. I can get closer to the subject with it too in comparison to the FD 50/1.8 lens.

Will post pictures as soon as I have shoot my first roll with it.

*EDIT March 15 2012

I was at a local flea market where I live. By the counter they had a camera that didnt look like something special or fancy, and I had never heard or read anything about it. So I asked what they wanted for it, the lady behind the counter said "well, I dont know, what about 30SKR? (about 4 or 5$)

- "Sure" I said and handed her the money.

When I came home I started googling for it to read some review of it. DAMN! Turned out, this camera is way popular.

I´m now a proud owner of a Olympus Trip 35 early modell!! :D

I have now been out shooting two rolls with this camera, developed the film in my bathroom. Excellent camre, the sharpness is acctully stunning. I´m in love.

*EDIT March 22 2012

Today I got my Olympus PEN FT in the mail with the PEN F original optic so the TTL metering is kinda pointless I guess because this optics dont have the "o-stop" marking (0-7) just the F-stops markings. I took a test roll today and used my "knowledge" in photography and adjusted the shutter and aperature acording to what I think would be the apropriate. Turns out I was pretty damn close to perfect pictures, some of them became dark, other too light, but most of em was spot on.

*EDIT November 29 2012

Today I ordered a Instax 210 with 5packs of 2x10 film packages. They will arive at my home in Sweden between 3-6 dec. It is a birthday present from my mom and dad, as I will turn 25 on 2 Dec. It will be sooooo much fun to try it out, and it will be my first instant camera, other than my Polaroid set for my Bronica SQ-ai, but I havn´t tried that one yet.

I will try to post some shots if I can find a decent scanner for it.

Hope to hear from you. / Robert
