Hi All,

I remove every contact from my contact list if a photographer places a photo of dead animals/birds for photostream on Flickr. I do not agree that it can be a piece of art as photographers explain their shots. For me it is cruelty.

I do not want to have so persons among my contacts.

Regards, Raymond

Black and white photography doesn't attract with its play of colors. However, here close attention to composition, lighting, perspective and the context are important. I think it tells a graphic story clearly. Often black and white photo shows good contrast and shadows. I think it's classic and elegant. For me the simplicity of black and white helps to focus on the important stuff.

Raymond Wealthy is one of my favorite photographers on flickr. I am very impressed by his ongoing creative commitment to location and subject matter in b&w tones. To me it makes his images feel immediately recognizable and familiar, yet not repetitious nor redundant. I feel that he tells soulful stories in his pictures, and also has a great eye for still life and landscape scenes. Thank you Raymond for sharing your beautiful vision of the world with us every day.

Raymond is one of the greatest street photographer I find here in Flickr. A rare association of exact framing and composition and a subtle perception of light.

Mr Raymond Wealthy has the ability to transmit imprints of moment-flakes which carry the concentrated energy of a captured life and surroundings. It is an overwhelming, almost perfection of where He draws the line, the balance of the inspiring Short stories, People is way beyond any technical examination. The profusion of people, movements, lights lightning, his black darkening and whites are out of all colours named and unnamed. It seems so easy to let in the moments, in reality staying close enough but not too close when photographing people needs a keen eye and respect. Mr Wealthy's work is poetry to me, i am touched by the 'small' things they whisper or shout, small things that become always wide when they settle. For the sea of trees, kids and grown-ups, old and bold and freshfleshed ones, for young hair, long hairs that would flow in the memory of the harbour and walls, clocks, all which inspired me, thank you. Mr Raymond Wealthy gives the essential and the brave: the very ends of light and dark, their tension in coexistence, maturity and beauty.
