I think it was Ray who first found me on flickr. He left a comment on one of my pics, the next thing he's taking the time introducing me to the music of Bill Nelson - music that my images inspired a memory of ...a connection was established immediately. Since that initial exchange I have enjoyed keeping an eye on Ray's photostream. There is warmth and an honesty to his photos that is refreshing. Most of all there is such a strong sense of place in these images. I have come away from Ray's photostream feeling as though I have discovered a little piece of the beautiful part of the world in which he lives. Ray, I have to say that Maxwell's Plum looks like a great place for an ale or three. Have a brew for me next time too ok!
