Photography enthusiast, interested in nature and landscape and astro photography. I currently use a Canon 7D, Tokina 11mm to 20mm wide lens, Canon 300mm F4, 100mm F2.8 macro and an 80mm f6 flourite refracter and a 60mm F6 flat field refractor and a Skywatcher MN190 F5.3 Reflector, for all my Astro, landscape birding and wildlife images. New lens acquired june 2011, canon 70/200 f2.8 mk2, has now been sold on. New camera body acquired late in 2016, canon 760D. Newly acquired summer 2021, my latest telescope is an Explore Scientific 127mm F7.8 FCD100 Triplet Carbon Fiber Refractor and 0.7 Reducer flattener. Also acquired early 21 was my MGEN 3 Auto guider.

In October 2022, I injured my back at work and suffered severe sciatica for 10 weeks. At my age that`s a warning, so I sold my EQ6 mount and my MN190, and acquired a lightweight Ioptron CEM26, Centre balanced mount and an William Optics 70mm Refractor APO. As of 2023 I have around 3000 Astro images to process, collected over the past 18 months. I am going to process these images in due coarse, when I retire in May 23 and my laptop is updated and other upgrades are acquired.

a year or so ago I had to lose 5000 photos, as I don`t have a PRO account, I have the free account. This shows in December 2021 my stats showing 600,000 views, its interesting to know that my old account sported 1.3 million views, I would think by now I should have passed 1.5 million views, so I will update my heading to +1.5 million views.
