Grew up riding around in trucks as my Dad drove for RFL Wellington(11 years),and Car Haulaways Dunedin(20 years). Became a truck driver myself,and been doing it for over 20 years now.My brothers a truck driver too,I guess its in the blood. Always on the lookout for photos of RFL,Car Haulaways and Modern Freighters trucks to save.Its important to save this history,as it gets harder to find as every year passes.Im currently writing a book about Refrigerated Freight Lines which we hope to publish next year. Eventually I would like to complete a full written history on the operations of Car Haulaways and Modern Freighters as well.I also build 1:87 scale replicas of trucks from these fleets.
