WEDDINGS!!!WEDDINGS!!!!LOVE IT!!!!
I have been in the wedding photography business for five years. It's one of those disciplines in photography that I don't get tired of. For me, its about capturing those moments and telling a story from them. I usually do a wedding every weekend. I've seen so many wedding styles from brides that even that go as high as $90,000. I've photographed weddings that vary from theme to theme even had the greatest opportunity to photographed Rosie and former governor Paul Calvo's 50th Golden Anniversary wedding; I've also worked with brides from off-island that get married here on Guam. In addition, I've freelanced both photography and journalism with the Pacific Daily News, Directions, and Glimpses. Probably, the highlights of my photography and journalism endeavors is covering the photo beat for the Philippine stars that came to Guam such, Lea Salonga, Bayani and Sex Bomb Girls, Sharon Cuneta, Ara Mina, Aegis, Christian Bautista, Sarah Geronimo, and Gary Valenciano. I've had the privelege of working with the women of the Guam Business Woman of the year 2006 and 2007.
My wife tells me that I can never enjoy one thing at a time. I like to take on many things at once. I'm a multi-tasker and that's all right by me. I have people tell me that they can't keep up with what I do. I'm never satisfied with just doing one thing. I love riding my bike, getting up in the morning for a run, swim if time permits, and at the same time juggle my teaching career, meeting up with new wedding clients, editing photos, and doing weddings on the weekends. Sometimes, I think I'll just burnout myself, but that would be hard when I love what I'm doing. Meeting people is probably one of my strong points and that helps in this business. I like listening to soothing music like opera, piano and guitar instrumentals. Aside from all the CREATIVE chaos that I go through, I love hanging out with my wife and three daughters. It's just the most wonderful thing watching how my daughters absorb new things and grow everyday.
