Rawlinson family photos, including surnames Newlove, Healy, Murphy, Nowik and Salivonchik, who emigrated from England, Ireland, Australia and Belarus to British Columbia, Canada in the late 1800s to early 1900s.

We've put some on Ancestry as well, but many photos are of their friends, or unidentified people, so wanted to make those available more widely in case others may recognize them. Family trees are on Ancestry and Wikitree.

The families and specific areas they're from are:

1. Rawlinson: Ashton on Ribble, Preston, Lancashire, England (prior generation from Helsby, Cheshire);

2. Newlove: Riplingham, Rowley, Yorkshire, England;

3. Healy: Loughill, Glin, Limerick, Ireland; then Charters Towers, Queensland, Australia;

4. Murphy: Glenmore, Kilkenny, Ireland;

5. Nowik, Salivonchik and Halaburda: from Grodno, Poland (now Belarus). Before about 1950 when they slightly Anglicized their names, the spellings were Novik, Saliwonczyk and Goloburda.

In general, we're only posting photos, and adding descriptive text about them, that are at least 70 years old. However, if you have any issues with any personal information, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll adjust accordingly.
