Rob, There are many photographers here attempting to create this surreal reality in photographs, and I say 'attempting' because in comparison to your work, I don't think many of them can render all the elements as seamlessly as you do. Each one has such a depth, a perfection, that makes these imaginations plausible, much like the effect some of the great visual directors in film like Lars Von Trier and Wes Anderson create in their viewers. Although these photographs are stills, I imagine them moving on screen, water rippling, glass shattering, and the people standing amongst all this beauty and chaos. -Amy

It's been almost 3 years of knowing Rob through his images. A lot of people can come up with great ideas and a lot of photographer can create quality images but what sets Rob apart is his passion for this art. The amount of hard work he puts in creating sets, props and little details of every image, is amazing... and what is even more amazing is that he absolutely enjoys this whole process. Of course, this joy and love shows in his final creation. His images are like little glimpse of dreams and other worlds. You're awesome Rob :)

If you think you've ever managed to find someone better at the whole photography thing than Rob then you're wrong, no apologies there. As a general rule I don't look up to people, but looking back through Rob's stream to decide what I want to say I find myself looking up to him. To find someone with talent like his is rare, and to find talent in someone so kind, genuine, modest and with such a heart for Jesus is rarer still. Rob merges superb concepts with phenomenal skill behind a camera and great editing work to create the closest thing you'll ever see to photographic magic, and to pick out a list of my favourite photographs of his would be an incomprehensible task. In spite of all this, his modesty amazes me. I'm proud to consider this guy my brother in Christ. God bless.

Ive been following Rob for quite some time now, and although I'm a flickr-er who tends to drop off the face of the earth a lot, and then turn up randomly, I am constantly impressed and excited to see what he's up to next. I have always admired his ability to create such powerful, and meaningful images. Every single one has a huge story, and if you look closely, there are always tiny, hidden details that most photographers would never think to integrate. Rob is all about the details and that is something I truly love about his work. His skills with photoshop and his camera make for incredible art, and he has a talent that I very much envy!!! Of course, his talent on flickr hasn't gone unnoticed by the community. It's honestly people like Rob that make Flickr such a wonderful community for developing photographers like myself. First off, the extravagant and super interesting concepts he manages to think of and capture perfectly is such a treat to see. You can really tell that he puts a lot of thought and hard work into creating just a single photo and it shows throughout his stream that he has so much dedication to creating these masterpieces. Second of all, Rob always leaves the nicest comments on photos, it's like he puts a lot of thought and friendliness into them. And for me, it's been people like him that keep me taking photos and continuing my 365 although I've wanted to quit so many times. Thank you, Rob for being a great photographer, and such a great contact!

(and i don believe i ever will see one!) He finds these places and comes up with these brilliant ideas, then creates the perfect photo! That is truely insperational! In fact if i were to try and create a photo based off of his insperational photos, it would take me weeks just to pick one! I am slightly jelous of his amazing settings he has and only wish i could places like his such as a run down building. Here the old buildings are inpenitrable and most likely will kill me if i could possibly get into one! Other amazing things he creates are the tones and focus of his photos! In short words everything he does is awesome! So I have to say that i truely can not wait to see what you come up with next! All i know is that i will be shocked and or amazed no matter what! Rob, I had to edit this a little so it made more sense. Sometimes while looking through random photos on flickr I will stumble across something (and someone) new and wonderful. It is made all the more special because it took me a while to find it. Thats how I feel about finding Rob and his work. I havent known him for that long but he has such a unique style and is very talented at finding interesting settings and also creating them with the magic of technology. All of his work is so different and complete. Not only that but he is also a lovely guy, and a great contact. I am glad to have found him here and to have him as a friend :)
