Wow, over two years since I updated this profile, I guess that says it all. Since buying a ‘Pro’ subscription I posted quite a lot of photos and have had a good deal of enjoyment out of Flickr, however, like most people I have an account on Facebook – just look up Mafa Kinedurtz to find me there – and consequently post most of my albums etc there, where there is no fee involved. I’m not saying that the standard of images or the service is as good as Flickr, but it is quite interactive and engaging and I cannot say that Flickr have really done a great deal to compete with that for my (or anybody else’s) attention.

I completely understand that Facebook is not to everyone’s taste, nor is it completely to mine really, just a handy forum to keep in touch with all your old friends and share feelings, photos, ideas etc, as well as some really daft and dire ‘applications’ and groups etc.

Anyway, my point is that I have consequently migrated away from Flickr just a little, but still post occasionally and generally visit almost daily, in the vain hope that something has happened to grab my attention. The most recent discovery was that of ‘Galleries’, which is reasonably entertaining and I have started my own one of those, not surprisingly focussed on paragliding! I hope to create more of those soon.

Other than that, my attention can be got, by messaging me at my FB account (name again is Mafa Kinedurtz) or by dropping by my blog at Artikulation - comments are most welcome.

Please feel free to peruse and ideally comment upon my photos within these pages, it’s always nice to read someone’s comments. Hoping you enjoy my pages!

This map thingy's quite good - so here's my list of visited places so far - meagre, but I'm working on it!

(Ha-ha, IT says I've visited 8% of the world and 3% of the USA, I think that's a bit of an exaggeration!)

My efforts at taking over the US have been pitiful, but at the risk of overkill here's the skinny:

I actually like THIS one, cos it looks like I've been everywhere!

I've been friends with Ravey now for getting on for 5 years. He has an eclectic taste in music which ranges from Moby to Pink Floyd to Snow Patrol to some really weird stuff that you need to have been a hippy once to appreciate (see his Self portrait! Here www.flickr.com/ph... LOL. I have spent a bit of time in the air with this guy in Germany and hope to while away a few more hours doing much the same. I should add that Ravey is an avid paraglider these days and so, many of his shots are from above. His Nikon isn't the only Camera he loves he also has a taste for Real Ale and we are now regulars to the anual GBBF held by CAMRA at Earls Court www.camra.org.uk/... we have been to the last three festivals and allways on Hat Day Gordon Giltrap Played this year. Anyway I digress this Bloke is smashing! and I hope we spend many happy years drinking and laughing!

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Or is it simply Dave, the cool guy who takes the most incredible aerial photos from his crazy parachute contraption? Although Dave is just about the only RAF TG-14 guy who I never met in person, I still feel like he's an old mate who I've known for years.
