Hello!

My name's Alisha, I'm 23 years old and I live in Sweden. My main hobby is photography and I'm self-taught. I've been photographing nature, macro and portraits before I started photographing animals.

I visit different zoos in Sweden and two of them are pretty close to my town. I'd love to photograph real wildlife shots some time in the future.

I got my first DSLR in 2007 and it was a Canon EOS 400D. I didn't take a lot of serious photos with it when I first got it, but two years afterwards I started to take a lot of nature shots.

I got a new camera in December, 2011. It was a Canon EOS 60D and has been my best friend ever since I got it. I've taken all my zoo photos with it and I couldn't be happier.

I recently got a new camera on the 3rd of November, 2014. I upgraded from my 60D to a 5D mark III. I needed a camera that could preform well in low light and I'm excited to try it out at the zoo!
