Flickr Quirk: Verbosity / Poetry

While it's unusual to comment at length on the Internet, when something "moves" me, I get all wordy and expressive from the excitement. Many have thanked me for "good quality" comments and poetry that jibes with their work, but others have felt somewhat overwhelmed by the length.

All I can Say is I've never been an addict of any substance, I'm a Healer (literally, in the Reiki energy sense, too), not a hater and I don't "stalk" people.

As a poet who photographs, sometimes a photo -mine or another's - will inspire me to write a poem that "fuses" with the photo to hopefully make something greater together. See my "Fusion" set for my photos with poetry.

I just got my first Pro account! Thanks, Lake!

-Please be patient with me as I go back and organize stuff into my newly-available Collections and extra Sets.

I post 5 photos/week, as that's the max that shows up on people's contacts page at once, or that I have the patience to describe, tag, put into groups, etc.

I like being organized, so every photo is tagged as much as possible, and I'll be soon organizing into Sets, etc, and putting more stuff into Groups.

In every form of experience, my tastes are very wide, from photos, to music, art, food, types of people I like, faiths, alternative/complementary Health stuff, the list goes on.

I am a certified Reiki energy healing practitioner, and love to do it for friends and family. I don't yet have the health for my own practice, but believe in spreading it around for its own sake, especially as it's like taking a leaky hose to a water fight on a hot day- the "sender" always gets some as it's safely channeled-through not "from".

I crave balance between polarities and love it when I see it or can manage it in any aspect including photography. But I am often able to see good in "excessive" stuff- just no cruelty or racism or bigotry or whatever!.

I have been active getting involved in mental health causes and organizations ever since my meds were working well enough to not get all confused from the fact I had, as I explain in presentations to high schools, conferences and a public broadcasting interview : "diabetes of the brain", for me known as schizophrenia with a "side order" of anxiety.

I live on the East Coast of Canada, in Halifax, a "Small city" with a lot of heritage and unfortunately, conservativism -by Canadian standards. But people in cars, even big trucks, stop for you a lot of the time as a pedestrian- instead of accelerating to beat you to it, so it's nice, amongst other things.

I am 29.
