Just a Kiwi girl who enjoys photography and learning new skills. The images on Flickr really inspire me to learn new techniques, try different subjects and think outside the square.

Most of my photos are straight out of the camera - I have a very old version of Lightroom which I don't use anymore. I never really had the patience to acquire any skills with it, so now I just don't bother! If I do use it, I will crop and perhaps adjust saturation a bit.

I use a Fuji bridge (looks like a DSLR but the lens doesn't come off) and a wee Pentax rugged camera. I tend to leave the Fuji at home if I'm tramping or camping, but the Pentax takes great photos given it's limited manual functions.

I favourite people's photos for both their image and the accompanying title - I find it really difficult to find the right words for my photos sometimes.

And yes, I know I live in paradise. New Zealand really is this pretty, although it does rain often, and is rarely calm.
