Raoul is one of the unsung greats here on Flickr. Whether it's L.A. or Paris or nowhere, he never stops impressing me with his witty take on the streets and life in general. He's got razor sharp skills and the ability to capture candid scenes with an oblique sense of irony. He's also one of a very few that actually push the envelope with his style of minimalist medium format in everyday urban settings that are often untouched by lesser photographers. He seems like a nice guy too, but he'd make fun of me for saying that.
