I always said having a Mom that was a school teacher was the most awesome thing a kid could ever wish for…Each summer we spent many days at the beach snorkeling, in the Everglades exploring some nature trail, or simply trudging through the woods examining every plant, animal, and interesting rock we came across. It was only natural that I would grow up to have a keen appreciation for all things outdoors.

When I discovered Photography in Junior High (yes, they called it Junior High way back then!) the outdoors and nature were instantly my favorite subjects. Having little talent with brush or pencil I embraced photography as a medium for expressing myself and though I have freelanced shooting portraiture, weddings, bar mitzvahs, fishing tournaments, and festivals; still, it is nature and our wonderful outdoors that remain my canvas of choice.

If there were any passion I held dearer than photography and the outdoors it might well be food. I hope you'll visit my Photostream from time to time and witness a progression as these same passions show up, intersect, and hopefully improve in quality...as this is the work I truly love.
