I started my journey into photography in April 2010 because of a sudden urge to get creative and photograph the world around me, which, combined with my enjoyment of all things geek/tech seemed to be the perfect hobby.

So here I am, sharing my journey of discovery as I learn how to create an image of the world as my mind can imagine it; I just hope the photos don't suck too much! :-)

I shoot on a Nikon D90 with a range of lenses and as I'm quite new to all this I don't really have a specific type of photography that I like best - from nature to wildlife, macro to portrait, sports to landscape, I'm going to explore them all as I learn.
