When I was 14 years old, my dad gave me my first camera. It was his old camera from the 70's but it was new to me. Since they didn't have digital cameras in the 70's I learnt to take pictures the old fashion way, with real film. Since I was only 14 I couldn't afford a lot of film or the developing fees, I learnt very quickly how to get the right shot the first time. My hobby soon turned into a passion and I've been taking photos ever since.

Over 15 years later, I'm still taking pictures and still just as passionate about it as I was when I was 14. Since I now have the effeciency of a digital camera I try to find new ways to challenge myself such as producing photos that are better then the last. Challenges like this one and seeing how much others enjoy my photos are what keep me motivated to keep taking more pictures.
