"The best camera in the world is your eyes"
I have nothing very super to write about me. I am no super Human Being. Professionally Studying Electronics Engineering from International Islamic University Islamabad.
Photography is a passion for me which will remain forever. For me My eyes are the camera which compel me to capture the actual into my world forever..
Colors are the ingredients which make life more beautiful. These ingredients are responsible for your smiles sometime.
Every Picture in the world has a story which is not bound to space of words. I belong to the city which is usually regarded as 'city of deads' i.e Islamabad but with all my pure inspiration from typical Punjabi Family. I was born and raised in Islamabad. Rana Muhammad Usman Ashraf is my name which is shortly known as Rana Usman. I am one of the Below average students, With extreme low grades from prep class, finally i've reach final year of Engineering but the convention still continues, probably because I was and I am always diverted towards the thoughts of creativity with my idealogical nature to perceive things with my own dimensions of life.
Some weak memories of my school days are still tied to me. IMCB F-8/4 was a real source of learning for me. I've learned playing "Qaidi Qaidi" and "Barafpani" there. Beside this I still remember how my college lost a cricket match because of me. I was the bowler and some 18 score was required on 6 balls! and By Gods grace I made the rival team win the match by putting some very bad balls. Life looked so easy at those times, from dawn to dusk you are not worried about anything except homework of *Sir Mehboob*. Loveliest were those times when 1-Re meant a lot to you. You are crying to keep fast during Ramadan and your mother tells you 'Guys of your age keep *Chiri Roza*'. Every morning I never wanted to get up to for school and every afternoon I never wanted to return home from school :). Life was at strange rythem :).Such beautiful times when I am running hard, not to win race but to secure a window side seat in college bus :). Allhumdullilah It was beautiful :)
Finally I entered college where I started to develop passion for photography. My first camera in life was a second hand used reel camera that I bought from a utility store for 300 Pk/r but it was unfortunate of me that I couldnt ever work with it since the reel was for 160 rs at that time :p and so I didnt have any source to convert those reel images to my fairy computer. Some faded memories of that small hut cafeteria are still in my mind where I used to serve a plate of rice with *WATER* as I never had money to get a pepsi along :p. And after having it, the hot cup of tea made a lot difference in winters especially when it rained. I like walking in the rain and I can’t forget when I used to walk from my college to the nearest bus stop through the shadows of pine trees with the aroma of flowers, foliage and rain.Rain has always been part of my inspiration especially when it rains in a tranquil morning. I love the fragrance when a tiny droplet falls on the soil making it semi-muddy :). It was probably in my fate to be a backbencher for life. I always been a backbencher in school because I never wanted to fight those bullies with their *unlimited* weight sitting in front row. Beside I had an advantage being a back-bencher, it was easy to make noise in room and I loved being head-ache for my madam
Gone were those days when I used to be backbencher and finally entered university and it was my extreme badluck that I planned to always sit in front row but I could never find any seat vacant at front rows. So again the charge of my life was back to back benches. For this reason I've never been a good student in my entire life. It was a good experience sharing my photography with my "Cheetay" friends of International Islamic University Islamabad ;). They've been my real moral support for which I planned to make this page :). Flowers always been my inspiration which is I know bit typical but being I as Rana Usman, I cannot ignore the beauty of Nature that has been created by the creator of creators Allah swt :). I believe the best camera in this world is your vision to see different things, I regret I cannot buy a Nikon DSL which is for 45thousand (well You can donate money if you are interested :p) but its alright, its just about moving on in life with what you've and right now I am very lucky to own two mobile phones SE W810i and SE K800i (sorry I lied, its not mine, it belongs to my brother :p). So I thought to move on working with these mobile cameras and out of utter vision and prespective to see different things , I came out with these photographs that I intend to share with you inShAllah :)
Jazak Allah
and above all
All the praises remains to Lord of worlds, I never deserved what I've :
