I am quite a enthusiast, i rather say, not a pro. I have owned many SLR's in my life. The first SLR in my hand was Zenith (Russian made bought at Petaling Street). It was good but no warranty. Then I owned Yashica Kyocera MF with zoom lens and standard lens. Then I bought another Yashica Kyocera with auto crank. Not until 2006, when I discover Yashica no more produced camera, I bought Canon EOS 400D/XTi and lens mount adapter to mount my old yashica lenses of telezoom, reflex lens, and long telephoto 500mm with 2x teleconverter.
I like to take scenery, landscape, and anythings nice and beautiful. I rarely photograph people except some portraits. But due to my working/employment time restrictions, I can hardly photograph anything at frequent.
Recently in May 2010, I upgraded my photogear to EOS 50D. However I maintained all of my lenses.
Here is my updated gears:
Canon 50D
Tamron 17-50mm/2.8 macro
Tokina 100mm f/2.8 macro
Sigma 50-200 mm f/4-5.6
Tamron 70-300 mm with Kenko1.4X teleconverter = 98-420mm
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 II USM
500 mm long telephoto Y/C with 2X teleconverter and EOS mount adapter = 1000 mm.
My previous gears:
Canon EOS 400D
Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-5.6 USM
Tamron 18-250mm
Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8 -3.5
I am looking forward to enjoy more photography once my children are independent enough and my working/employment permits me.
Updated data: I have upgraded to Canon EOS 60 D. Then Latest gear is Canon EOS 80D.
