As a self-taught artist/photographer, I continue to learn through the process of experimentation, study, self-discovery and feedback.

Also, I've been learning a lot from Craig Tanner of www.tmelive.com. Craig's generosity in helping photographers/artists learn through his free tutorials has been instrumental for me in getting past my comfort zone. Thank you Craig, I'm grateful for all your help!

Photography for me is a tool to express - my emotions, my perceptions - from the whole gamut of beauty to the ugliness I see in the world and connect with the world. As Thomas Merton said, : " Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time." Perhaps I can offer a certain breathing room for the spirit through my art?.

Auguste Rodin's quote has influenced my approach to creation of art : "The artist must create a spark before he can make a fire and before art is born; the artist must be ready to be consumed by the fire of his own creation."

I've been fortunate to have had a solo as well as numerous group art exhibitions here in Toronto. I enjoy this part of art/photography, wherein I can see the responses/reactions of the audiences to my work! It's fulfilling!! My shows consist of mounted prints sized 24"x18" and bigger, in order to have the maximum impact on the audiences.
