Late in 2013 I had a stroke but am feeling a lot better now, although I do not travel as much, or take as many photos, or drink as much.

Retired (at 50 in 2003) chemical worker, now drinking my way round Europe (not full time yet though) along with Dot in our motorhome (RV).

Only got a cheap cameras but they are ok for what I want at the moment.

I am not a professional photographer and do not take hundreds of photos and pick out the best, I take photos as souvenirs of our family life and as reminders of what we have done and where we have been.

The last statement is now not always true, since joining flickr and after looking at other much better photos by others, I sometimes take longer over my photo taking, and even sometimes take several shots, just to be sure.

Sometimes they are not too bad.

I must also give credit to Dot as some of the better photos were obviously taken by her.

With the Motorhome Group & Campsite Register group, I hope I can help fellow travels find nice places to stay. The beer groups are for fun.
