My name is Ralf,
I like photography, because of its large variety of enjoyable moments ...
exploring motives and perspectives, making, editing, viewing and sharing the photos :-)
My main subject is architecture and in particular symmetries (however I would not create artificial symmetries by editing).
I prefer taking architecture photos "without people" (however I would not remove people by editing).
I like photographic series and have albums for "staircases", "subway stations", "courtyards","ceilings" and others.
I like the challenge and I would like to show the places, like I've seen them ... however I'm aware that this can never be "neutral" ... everyone sees things differently :-)
And even what you see, what you can technically photograph and what you can edit, are already three different things ;-)
If you wonder, why I give "favorites" to so different types, and qualities, of photos, that's because I don't want to follow my own interests and not "highest quality", but rather rate the interests of other photographers and their ambitions and skills. (how boring would it be, to only look at, and rate upon, "highest quality standards" ;-))

n.b.b.: I prefer to take photos by my camera, but if I don't have it around, my iPhone needs to be good enough ;-)
