In college, I very much wanted to study photography; but dove into ceramics instead for three years, including a year in Japan. Later, between careers, I had another chance to study photography (along with cooking) in continuing ed. so I gave it a second-shot, for two years.

My motto is: If you didn't take a picture, it didn't happen. If you don't take a picture, it will be gone.
