I am a freelance writer, editor, photographer, musician, community organizer, and artist in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Much of my work centres on the non-profit sector, community media, and social justice.
I am the editor of Boyle McCauley News, a non-profit community newspaper serving the northeast Edmonton neighbourhoods of Boyle Street and McCauley. Many of my photo albums here are from events in those neighbourhoods, or just general shots of people. places, and things there.
In addition, I am known for documenting Edmonton's activist scene through my photo/video blog at Radical Citizen Media.
Finally, I also write for a variety of local publications and websites, which I have listed and linked at my own website WordsPicturesMusic.com.
The purpose of these collections is to showcase what is going on in Edmonton, especially concerning the social justice and activism that takes place at a variety of marches, rallies, and actions. I also document Edmonton's many events, attractions, and festivals. Sometimes I take pictures of things simply because they are beautiful.

Thanks so much, Paula, you have inspired me to raise my voice as well. The activism has always been kept silent inside me and through you I have learned to express it more vocally. I hope I can do more in the future for the causes.
