These are all photos of a rain goddess...every where I travel it rains, and rains hard! Record breaking kind of rain. My mantra? "Gortex is my friend". Imust be like the Scottish truck driver in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? A reincarnated rain goddess and the clouds are just happy to see me?

I love to travel, especially to remote, beautiful places. If my travel itinery does not require some vaccinations or visas, something must be wrong. Fortunately some of my friends (Ingrid, Alene & John) will travel with me despite the weather I bring! I also go to less challenging terrain with my sister, aunt & Mom for great wine & food holidays.

No matter where I go, I have my pareo and my clunky 35mm Nikon camera, fully manual. Yeah, I know everyone has gone digital but I'm still old school...besides, digital cameras don't like the rain ;)
