I live for and love adventure and challenges. Like to stretch the limits of my capacities and in doing so explore the boundaries of anything i do. Problems are a fascination as much as solving them is a passion!
I studied Architecture in Bombay (Mumbai) and then did my post-graduate M.A. (Advanced Architectural Design) at the Staedelschule in Frankfurt. Photography has been a passion since a long time and i have now experimented in a wide range of photographic areas but my favourites are Nature and Wildlife photography and architectural photography.
I am mostly an analog guy...only slides but i have tried my hand at digital photography and loved it too.
I recently moved on to medium format and am more or less into it totally and 35mm has taken a sort of back seat.
My equipment is quite varied. My first camera was a Kodak Brownie, that was given to me by my dad. The others are an Asahi Pentax SV and Spotmatic with screw mounted lenses, a Canon EOS3 (24-105mm) and EOS1V-HS (70-300mm), a Hasselblad 500 C/M with an 80mm lens and a Hasselblad 500 EL/M with a 40mm distagon and finally a Horizont Panorama Camera.
