Photography is my way of prayer. Of being aware and thankful. My camera (it is Olympus PEN and I love its white retro design!) is my third eye which helps me see, really SEE things around me.

It all started 5 years ago when I moved to Berlin for an internship. I literally knew no one there. I had free weekends and a small red compact camera, so I started wandering around the city, exploring it, taking pictures. Photography was not a hobby, it was my companion there.

Now I am back again in my normal life. But I didn't want to lose this awareness of all little precious things, of the beauty of everyday life, so I started a project last fall - 365. Nothing new, I know, but it doesn't have to be new to fulfill its goal: I want to be aware and I want to be thankful and I also want to notice and to show how much unintended beauty is spread all around us in every day. So.. one camera, one lens, one photo a day one year long.. Here you see the results. :-)
