Una palabra: Booom!
Bestialoides Sus Portraits.
One of the first things I do when I log in every day is seek out Rafa's latest work. He's astonishingly prolific (seemingly shooting four or five different cameras at any one time) and capable of wringing mood, intrigue and affection from the most mundane scenes.
Rafas photography is top draw. When I think about flickr I'm thinking about what I've missed by Rafa. Plain blows me away.
Modest. Honest. Prolific. Terrific. These are some of my favorite words to describe Rafa and his photography. I'm waiting until the day his daughter is as recognized in this art as he will soon be.

Traveling through Rafa’s photostream will introduce you to the heart of a man who has gotten comfortable with this ninja status as a street photographer. He captures images that you would have to be invisible in order to get. His style is cool & casual so you probably wouldn’t recognize him on the street. He has discovered how to nimbly maneuver his way through the streets, trains, beaches and corners of his hometown to give us a taste of what is really going on around him. I admire him and applaud his work. Although we both shoot street photography an ocean away from each other, I feel his heart through his images. His sense of humor and honesty come through all his work. Come watch his movie of images as he tells a story with them that I hope he will never completely finish telling. Even greater work will come from him.
