My name is Rafael Rodríguez-Vargas and I live in Richmond, Texas with my wife Ruth and my daughter Eva. I am originally from Puerto Rico (a little island in the Caribbean) and I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor in Science on Electronics Engineering Technologies. I currently work as a Telecom Engineer at Meriplex Communications at Houston, TX.

I, like many of you, am just an ordinary guy who loves to do many things but I have very limited time to actually do the things that I really love. I do like many things, mostly concerning different arts. Things like literature, music, photography, painting, drawing…yeah all that nerdy, geeky stuff that I just really love. Things that have nothing to do with what I studied or what I do for a living.

I have been writing for a long time, but that is now on hold since I rediscovered the wonderful world of photography. I have to thank my best buddy Jowei for that. Im a self-taught "photographer" but by no means I consider myself a professional. What I do I do it on my spare time and I receive no income from it.
