"Every day can be a holiday. It's what you shoot of it."

I am a beginning photographer who is fortunate enough to travel often and try to record the beauty that is around us. I shoot for fun and like to shoot almost anything but within the limits of my travels with family and friends and between work. For instance, when I travel with the Wife, I stick to the 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 as I'm not allowed to change lens.

Most of my photos flat out suck and are not worthy of sharing, but the decent ones I post in the event it inspires others to at least try to get a better shot and see the beauty that I saw.

I love to do workshops to learn from others. I enjoy meeting other photographers and like most avid shooters, have a few thousand shots in the archives waiting to be looked at and processed, including trips to distant lands and countries. At my current pace, I am shooting more than I can process, which is how I like it really.

Currently, I am trying out filters on most of my shots to try to balance light and exposure before trying to do too much with post-processing. I shoot purely in RAW and abode RGP and edit all photos in Light Room.
