Hi!

My name is Dennis Rademaker. I was born June 18th 1985 in a city called Nieuwegein which is located smack in the middle of The Netherlands.

In 2007 I started working as a Mechanical ground engineer for a Dutch airline company. It enabled me to save money for my very first camera gear. Off of the internet I bought a second hand Canon EOS 350D with a Sigma 18-50mm and 50-200mm lens. Soon I discovered that the second hand set did not meet my standards in burst speed and autofocus speed. I decided to go to a higher-end set and bought a Canon EOS 40D with a 24-105 f/4L and a 300mm f/4L lens.

In August of 2008 I realized that wildlife, and especially birds, were the main subjects of photos, I was always using big lenses. Since then I upgraded my gear and my skills. I also started to broaden my interest from birds to all living creatures.

Now, a few years later, I am still into wildlife photography and I traveled around, always taking my camera bag with me and sharing my work everywhere I go.

My camera bag nowadays consists out of:

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV

Canon EOS 40D

EF 500mm f/4L IS USM

EF 300mm f/4L IS USM

EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM

EF 1.4x II Ext.

Gitzo carbon tripod with Wimberley head II

Big Lowepro camera bag

I hope you can enjoy viewing my images as much as I did making them…

Some other work I made can be viewed at www.RademakerPhotography.com

Kind Regards,

Dennis Rademaker
