Alison is my Flickr friend which came abut by pure chance. We have a lot in common which includes walking and cycling but our lives seemed to have other similarities. Photography is not just about producing beautiful pictures, which is so often done with the help of photoshop, but the photos should also tell a story or say something about our lives or where we live and where we have been to. I enjoy seeing Alison's pictures and this is almost as good as sharing her adventures or outings. I live hundreds of mile away and can see what it is like where she lives. That does not mean having pictures of the pretty places but seeing the old new and the changes. Alison does not have much spare time but does find time to comment on my pictures and email me so we have learnt more about each others lives. Alison cares about other people , what more do you want from a friend? Brian
